Custom blinds can flow effortlessly with virtually any décor. With the horizontal slat appearance and wide variety of colors to choose from, there is a sense of style that uniquely radiates from this window covering. It offers much diversity in its’ operation and look. From a functional standpoint, one can either raise/lower the blind or tilt the slats in either 180° direction.

The slats are flat and can come in sizes such as 1”, 1 1/2”, 2”, and 2 ½”. The 2” and 2 1/2" slat size are the most popular and pragmatic.  These custom blinds provide excellent light control, great privacy, insulating qualities, and a spectacular look that will complement any traditional décor or contemporary setting.

The wider slat sizes offer a more traditional, shutter-type appearance with the 2 ½” referred to as “plantation shutter blinds.”

Faux Wood Blinds

The faux wood blind is constructed from either a composite material or durable polymers with UV inhibitors manufactured in the product to prevent discoloration and warpage.

This product is humidity resistant which is advantageous in certain climates or uncontrolled environments; such as a garage or bathroom areas. They can withstand the elements, including light, heat, moisture, and salty air.

Room darkening blinds are also an option with either the faux wood or real wood. They typically are made as a privacy custom blind and sometimes there are no routing holes.  Hence, the "routeless" blind. These have no holes in the actual slats which in turn provide greater light control.
